Trisotech Welcomes John Svirbely as Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO)

Dr. John Svirbely is a retired pathologist and has been a clinical care expert for over four decades

Montreal, Qc, Canada, November 28, 2019 — Trisotech (trisotech.com) today announced the addition of Dr. John Svirbely as its new Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO). Dr. Svirbely will support the Trisotech team in developing technological solutions that solve current and future needs in the healthcare industry.

Dr. John Svirbely, MD, is a board-certified pathologist and medical microbiologist from the United States with over 40 years of professional practice in clinical care. He received his BA from the Johns Hopkins University and MD from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

The relationship between Dr. Svirbely and Trisotech’s executives matured during their collaboration within the BPM+ Health community. Last September, Dr. Svirbely and Denis Gagné, CEO and CTO of Trisotech, delivered a joint presentation on Shareable DMN Clinical Decision Services at the BPM+ Health workshop.

Dr. Svirbely brings decades of expertise and knowledge in the field of clinical care and healthcare information technology (HIT) to Trisotech. He has already helped Trisotech to create a comprehensive library of DMN Clinical Decision Services readily available to organizations. These services can be easily consumed via API in any application to incorporate evidence-based knowledge in the flow of care.

As a founding member of the BPM+ Health community, Trisotech has been making strides in the healthcare industry sector, being recognized as a technology disruptor by the Mirror Review magazine. Dr. Svirbely’s addition to the Trisotech family will ensure continued rapid innovation in healthcare delivery. With his participation, Trisotech will continue to drive towards improving the efficiency and quality of clinical health care with BPM technologies.
