Digital Enterprise Suite

Digital Enterprise Suite – Release Notes – December 2nd 2024

Title Shadow
New and improved features:
  • Added knockoff tasks: a user task subtype that will ask from a list of questions until a specified result is entered.
  • It is now possible to include a Shared Data Model in the Workflow, Case, Decision and Knowledge Entity Modelers to reuse the defined data types.
  • Multi-instance loops were improved by allowing the completion condition to be entered as an attribute, allowing expressions as the collection to iterate and allowings the use of an expression to map the resulting collection to any linked data.
  • Added a new Public API resource allowing the generation of model links using only the place and model identifier (Place Content Link: /repositorylink).
  • It is now possible to send a message directly to the user when notifying a user task through Microsoft Teams.
  • Expressions are now supported on timer start events inside an event sub-process.
  • Simplified the usage of collection of elements. It is not required anymore to create a new data type to reference to a collection of an existing type (simple or user created). The contextual menu for selecting the type now offers that option at the root level.
  • More errors will directly link to the decision logic that caused them when validating.
  • Added the possibility to render a list of text with an enumeration constraint as a multi-select or a multi-checkbox field in the form.
  • It is now possible to create share links to model elements that are not depicted in a diagram.
Bug fixes:
  • There could be an inaccurate error message when trying to do Workflow data mapping using an attribute name with special character.
  • Data types for input and outputs of cases could not be properly rendered in the form for Case Automation.
  • The formURL attribute for user tasks in cases is not redirecting to the case instance view properly.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the indexing of Shared Data Models with incomplete range constraints.
  • The Digital Distributed Container admin section was not accessible under specific license configuration.
  • When a data store was updated without updating its data type, it could be incorrectly emptied.
  • Error end events could generate incorrect payloads compared to their documented OpenAPI.
  • Case tasks with a repeating marker without any conditions would trigger on every event.
  • An incorrect message could be displayed when trying to load a test case where the inputs were of type Any.
  • When viewing (in the Kommunicator) a Knowledge Entity Model, the options to promote and deprecate an alternate term were still offered.
  • Right-clicking inside a container will now reliably display its contextual menu.
  • Renaming a data type did not propagate in instance name, tags and analytic data.
  • Some unused data types were not cleaned up when deleting all unused data types.
  • Timer expressions were not updated when a data element was renamed.
  • Timer expressions were not properly displayed back after setting them.
  • After a BPMN model export, it was not possible to open it directly in the Workflow Modeler.
  • The BASE_PATH environment vairable was not taken into account when using the forms of the Digital Distributed Container.
  • Messages that were received but not consumed could lock the service instance for a quick period.
